I’m Matthew Smith.

I currently serve as Assistant Vice President for Marketing Communications at Mercer University, where I provide leadership for the digital communications, video and photography functions for the University.

I also find time as a freelance artist, specializing in print, logo and website design. I occasionally pick up a camera from time to time. I’ve always enjoyed capturing images of local scenery. I’m especially drawn to the urban landscapes of historic Macon.

I am a lifelong Maconite. In my spare time, I can most likely be found with my wife, Ashlee, and two children. I also enjoy golf, hiking, watching baseball or just about anything else outdoors.
